Smooth sailing was one thing Jack had never expected in all of his trial-and-error experiments with the serum, but it was safe to say that the process, and more so the waiting - and the qualms and the sense or urgency that he simply couldn’t work fast enough to ease that came along with it - was starting to take its toll on everyone in the house.
