I experienced something today that seemed so surreal/trippy/cool I figured I'd write an entry about it.

Each week, Cabela's distribution center has been training more and more new hires, and some of these said employees come to get lunch from our station located there. No big. Mellissa and I were sitting down chatting after one of our lunches had left, and a group of trainees came from the next room over, and in that bunch, I notice one in particular: he bears an eerie resemblance to my OC Adrian. I looked at her and said "That guy looks just like a character from one of my stories!" And she's kind of like "Whoa that's cool!"

He walks up, hands in pockets, kind of shy (he's even acting like him o_O) and I asked if I could help him with anything. He explains that he's new and doesn't know how our service works, so we explain it to him and talk to him casually, make a few jokes, and he opens up an talks a bit more. I snuck a peek at his nametag, and saw that it said "Arnold" something. If it said "Adrian" I totally would've shit bricks.

After he left I came to my DA gallery with my cell phone and showed Mellissa one of my pictures of Adrian and she just started grinning from ear to ear, saying how that was crazy, and how similar the guy looked to him.

I just thought it was surreal and cool. It felt like I was actually interacting with my own OC x'D I'm a loser, I know It kinda' made my day

Figured I'd update so people know I'm not dead D: Been playing the sh*t outta' Fable II lately, when I'm not working. I've been picking up hours, and I work 5 days a week now, but the managers still make certain I don't get any overtime xD Cheap bastards :/

Speaking of managers, word around the department last week was that our head manager Kerri was transferring. I only heard it once, so I brushed it off as false, but one of my coworkers told me today that she really is leaving, and that she didn't want a new manager. I'm curious as to whether one of our other leads will step up and take her place or if we'll get a new manager.

Though I admit lately I've not been pleased with Kerri's attitude and performance. The way she's been treating the Distribution Center employees is really nerve-wracking, especially when it's the employees on my level that end up dealing with their grumpiness. For example, she made us bring the plastic forks back to the main store, and we took sporks over to replace them. Tell me, how are people supposed to eat salads and alfredo with SPORKS? It's possible, yes, but when you have a half-hour lunch, it's pretty irritating. They get pissed off at US because "WE" brought them sporks to use, when in reality it was Kerri who made us do it. When we told her how they were acting, she just essentially shrugged, and said "Such is life. They'll get over it." They might, but no time soon. Oh well, if we lose business, it's not our faults.

I finally did it I ordered a 360. It's a refurbished one, but it's got a 30 day money back guarantee, and the seller has wonderful feedback, so I don't think I'll have a problem I've already registered my Gamertag on XBOX.com and I've got my account all ready to go for when it comes in I'm so anxious x]

And of course I'm "ChibiKinesis". I wouldn't have it any other way

I think when I get my license and a car I'm looking for another one :[ I'm sick and tired of being understaffed and overworked. Despite those circumstances you don't get too much appreciation. I won employee of the month AFTER I stopped giving a shit and half-assing everything. Seriously? Is that what it takes to get noticed? Wow.
