Any other time, it wouldn't be too big of a deal. But when you lose one of the main parts of your disguise, you might be in a bit of a pickle. She let an inaudible grumble of frustration. Why was it so hard to find a pair of black sunglasses on green grass? "Why am I going through all this trouble anyways?"

The sound sent a jolt up her spine, and left a lump in her throat. The unmistakable voice of Alexander Methos. "That's why- Ignore him for now and find your glasses!"

Banandies"Can't you ask Logan for the day off?" Adrian looked to his right to find a pair of blue eyes beckoning to him from behind perfectly groomed blond hair. She raised her hand to her mouth, where she placed a small yellow candy.

His glance turned back to the lake. A clumsy hand fumbled around in the bag of candy they shared until he found one of the crescent-shaped pieces and popped it into his mouth. Obviously, he was trying to dodge the question.

"What's the worst he could do? Tell you no?"

"What scares me more is what will happen if he says yes. I'm certain he'll make me pay for it."

To quote the artist comments from my last deviation;
Spent too much time thinking about Adrian and his umbrella. Marry Poppins came to mind, which spawned this idea here. Much to the OAO of Becca.

Thought on this one a little, actually. Magic runs on Angie's side of the family, and Adrian inherits the powers, but Tommy keeps her from teaching him the arts. So, years later, when Jeremy takes him under his wing, he shows Adrian some of his mother's old books and he learns that way. He's a modern-day hapless, clumsy magician, I suppose. With a magical umbrella no less. God, such an anime sounding plot
